THE FARMHOUSE


Ingleby Lodge is a spacious and comfortably furnished farmhouse which dates back to the English Civil War and is set in open farmland in a gloriously isolated South-facing position with splendid views of the surrounding countryside and fells beyond. 
Ingleby Lodge is a 'child friendly' property equipped with:
 Cot, highchair, stairgates and safety bedrails on request.
Ingleby Lodge is 'pet friendly' and we are happy to welcome up to 2​ well behaved dogs, and we provide:
stairgates and throws for the sofas.

The Farmhouse Lounge:

The farmhouse lounge is spacious and still retains original features providing a cosy atmosphere for you all to enjoy. The focal point is the wood burning/multi-fuel stove for which coal is provided during your stay offering warmth on those cold, crisp days.
Smart TV and DVD.

The Farmhouse Kitchen and Dinning Room

The farmhouse has a newly refurbished, well equipped kitchen/dining room offering space and comfort for preparing those hearty meals on an evening.  The dining area comfortably accommodates 14 guests and the well appointed kitchen offers - An electric range double oven and 5 hobs, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and a large slow cooker.

The Farmhouse Sleeping Accommodation
The farmhouse area accommodates nine people comfortably in five spacious bedrooms consisting of:
* x1 twin room with en-suite facilities of shower, wash hand basin and W.C. 
* x1 twin bedroom
* x 2  double bedroom
* x1 single bedroom
There is a large three piece bathroom with a shower.
On the ground floor there is a large walk in shower and W.C.
​​Bed linen and towels are provided and beds made on arrival.

Externally

Ingleby Lodge is reached from the road by way of a metaled drive. There is ample space for parking cars in front and to the East of the property.
​Ingleby Lodge has a South-facing walled garden with a patio and sloping lawn.  Ideal for relaxing during the day and star gazing at night. 
​There is a BBQ with tables and chairs for al-fresco eating.
