Ingleby Lodge is perfectly located in the heart of Wensleydale, making it an ideal base from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Just a short walk away is the picturesque village of Askrigg, where you’ll find everything, you need right on your doorstep. The village is home to three excellent pubs:

The King’s Arms (Bottom)
The Middle House (Middle)
The Crown Inn (Top)

Askrigg also offers the Yorkshire Dales Brewery, a fantastic deli (The Bake-Well) for packed lunches and treats, a village shop, a tearoom at Sykes House, a craft and gift shop (Heather and Grouse), and a children’s playground.

Bainbridge is also within easy walking distance along the old railway line. The village has a wonderful traditional butcher, a delicious tearoom (Taste of Wensleydale), and another excellent playground for children.
